Plot Overview

A prison escapee whom Hunter once escorted back to Texas returns to L.A. to seek vengeance, along with her equally psychotic boyfriend. Deputy Chief Moorehead organizes a task force to combat the crime wave that has taken over the city, ordering Hunter to stay on the pursuit of the murderous fugitives, while McCall poses as a gym teacher at a school where a murdered teacher worked and immediately meets up with a young punk who's got his hands into everything illegal at the school, except drug dealing. She also meets up with a fireman who functions as a neighborhood vigilante in his off-hours and whose troubled daughter is one of her students. The vigilante and his posse smash up a bank of school lockers and discover a stash of illegal pills. Later, the vigilante winds up chasing down and killing a young man suspected in a rash of neighborhood burglaries.
