Plot Overview
Hiding in the bathroom, Marshall and Lily wait impatient for Ted and Victoria to consummate their relationship, and Barney typically gets the wrong idea while hanging out with Robin.
Ted and Victoria decide to take things slowly, so instead of immediately leaping into bed with each other, they decide to not have sex for an entire month, a decision which is driving Ted's libido insane. They have one more week to go before they finally go through with it, but when Victoria realizes that she's going to be out of town on the day that the month is up, she decides to forget about the last week and go back to Ted's place. They, however, spend most of the time talking and staring into each others' eyes. When they're about to finally go to the bedroom, the phone rings and they stop. After a while, they go through with having sex and everyone is better for it.
Meanwhile, it's Marshall and Lily's 9th anniversary and they decide to blow off their romantic weekend. So, when Ted comes back to the apartment with Victoria, they're forced to hide out in the bathroom and mock him behind his back. While Ted and Victoria are in the living room, Marshall and Lily attempt to recapture their original love. After a while, Lily has to pee, but doesn't want to do so in front of Marshall since it would hurt their relationship. Eventually she bites the bullet and takes the hit for Ted. Afterwards, they realize that they still have firsts and all things are good for their future.
With Ted out of commission because he's spending so much time with Victoria, Barney recruits Robin as his new "Bro." They have drinks, smoke cigars and play laser tag with 12 year olds. Later on, they return to the bar, drink some more and Robin attempts to find someone for Barney. She uses the thrill of competition to shove his "target" in his direction. After he lets her go, the two go play Battleship. Which, of course, Barney takes as a proposition for sex. After he puts his pants back on and tells her that Ted gave him his blessing to make a move on her. He figures out that she has feelings for Ted, but promises not to let him know.

Memorable Moments
- Pop Rocks and Soda: As early as 1979, rumors that someone's stomach has exploded due to excessive amounts of Carbon Dioxide from the combination of Pop Rocks and Soda. The most popular version of this myth is that the LIFE posterchild, Mikey, died this way. However, this urban legend has since been proven false because Mikey is alive and well and the combination of Pop Rocks and Soda wouldn't cause death but rather slight discomfort at worst.
- Ted: I don't feel so good. It's like my testicles mixed Pop Rocks and Soda.
- Quantum Leap: Quantum Leap was a sci-fi series that ran for several seasons on NBC. The series featured Dr. Sam Beckett, a man who "leaps" through time and temporarily switches bodies with various people throughout his lifetime. He attempts to right the wrong and continue his leaps, hoping that one day he will return to his own body in his own time. In the series, whenever something bad happened, Beckett would often remark "Oh, Boy!" This typically happened whenever he leaped into a woman's body.
- Lily: I drank a Big Gulp of Mountain Dew during the Quantum Leap marathon.
- Marshall: Oh, boy!
Quotes
