Hollywood Squares is an American game show which aired in syndication. It was the fifth version of the Squares show that started on NBC in 1966.
Much like the original Squares in that celebrities used bluffs as well as gag answers, with contestants as X and O correctly agreeing or disagreeing to capture a square and make a tic-tac-toe. Each game won awards $500. The top winner at the end vied for a new car in a bonus round in which statements were read about each celebrity (in order on the board) and the contestant had to correctly agree or disagree with the statement, with 60 seconds allotted.
The "Secret Square" returned in this edition; a celebrity is randomly chosen as the Secret Square. A contestant choosing it and correctly agreeing or disagreeing with the celebrity wins a prize package.
