Plot Overview

In a barn where a secret rendezvous is taking place, Underground Agent Maria Hoffman is giving Hogan some vital information. Before she can continue, the Gestapo is approaching the barn. Carter who is the secret lookout reports to Hogan and Kinchloe who is also present. They are about to leave hopefully with Maria, but she declines to leave. She fears that her accompanying Hogan would put their operation in jeopardy. So she decides to remain behind to stall the Gestapo. Reluctantly, Hogan and his men leave. No sooner had they departed then the Gestapo break bust in the barn. Hogan and his men would later learn that Maria had been arrested by the Gestapo. Knowing that sooner or later Maria might talk, Hogan tries to think of a plan to spring her. The plan would come in the form of Gertrude Burkalter. Hogan's plan is truly a risky one. His plan is to kidnapped Gertrude and exchange her for Maria. The timing for the kidnapping and the exchange has to be right. The plan would also involve an unwitting Schultz.
