Plot Overview

Klink is called to Berlin for a very important meeting with General Burkalter. Also present at the meeting is Major Kolger. This meeting of the three is very secret, even to Hogan. The meeting concerns recent sabotage activities which have been taking place of late. Burkalter believes that there is a connection having to do with Stalog 13. To ferret out the leak, Burkalter will have Klink casually leak false information around Stalog 13 Camp. If the phony info is acted upon, then Burkalter will know that the leak is in the camp. Klink returns to camp and has Schultz carelessly spill the beans about a weapons plant that is about to develope some new weapons to defeat the Allies. Hogan gets Schultz to reveal the false info to him, and he relays it to London. London acts on the info from Hogan and, just as Burkalter suspected, the weapons plant, which is really a garbage dump, is bombed. The next day at Stalog 13, Burkalter, Klink and Kolger are discussing the matter. Hogan and his men are listening via their microphone, angry that they were tricked so easily. Hogan and his heroes will get their pay later in this episode, but for now, they continue to listen to Burkalter speaking. Burkalter decides to relieve Klink of command at Stalog 13. He puts Major Kolger in his place as commandant. Burkalter will talk to Kolger outside. He tells Kolger that a new prisoner will be brought into camp. The new prisoner will actually be a Gestapo agent. His job of course is to get any information that he can about any spying, or sabotage activities. The Gestapo agent is brought into camp the following day. Hogan and his men as usual will give the new prisoner the screening process to determine whether or not he is a plant. He passes every test except the speaking in German test. The agent forgets himself and responds to the heroes' words when he is suprised one night in a phony fire accident. Now confirmed as a spy, Hogan and his men will use this spy as a means to draw suspicion from themselves to have Burkalter blame another for information being leaked to the Allies thereby reinstating Klink back as commandant of Stalog 13. They will also get rid of the Gestapo agent as well.
