Plot Overview

An RAF officer is brought into Stalog 13. He is a British officer named Roberts. He is given special treatment by being put in the guest room. This man is also a friend of Hogan's. The heroes listen in on the conversation between Klink and Hochstetter. What the heroes hear shocks them. It sounds like a plot has being planned to assassinate Prime Minister Winston Churchill. It somehow involves Hogan's friend Roberts. Hogan rushes to Klink's office as a pretext to demand to see Roberts, since as senior officer, he has the right to see any new prisoner who comes to Stalog 13. He actually wants to find out what is going on. To Hogan's surprise, and suspicion, Klink says that it is okay to see the RAF officer. Hogan knows that Hochstetter and Klink would have already planted a microphone to listen to what will be said between them. Hogan talks to Roberts about how he has come to being captured and sent to Stalog 13. While the two men are talking Hogan searches around the room for hidden microphones. He finds one and, pretending to leave, he deafens the microphone and whispers to Roberts about a plot that may involve him. Roberts has no idea what the Germans are planning. Hogan then leaves. He discusses the matter with his men. Hogan and Newkirk do not believe that Roberts would be a part of any plot to assassinate Churchill. LeBeau, on the other hand, believes that he is. They tune in on the coffee pot to listen to more of the assassination plot, this time a third person is present. It is Roberts, apparently. Hochstetter is speaking. He knows that Roberts is on the General Council in Britain, and is very close to Prime Minister Churchill, and getting close to kill Churchill would be very easy. Newkirk still doesn't believe that Roberts would be a part of an assassination plot, until Hochstetter asks if he would kill Churchill. To the heroes' shock, Roberts says "I would be honored". Then Klink has a surprising guest enter his office. It is RAF officer Roberts. The real Roberts. Roberts is surprised to see a man that could be his twin. The exact double for Roberts name is Lieutenant Baumann. The heroes are shocked. They further listen as they learn that while Roberts was at another Stalog, the Germans took pictures of him, and recorded his voice. Having learned this, Hogan and his men will come up with a counter plan to not only stop the impostor from getting near Churchill, but to liberate Roberts so that he will be the one to meet Prime Minister Churchill. The plan is to get Roberts out, and to prevent the impostor from alerting Hochstetter that their plan had failed. The timing of both must be correct.
