Be the First on Your Block is the sixteenth episode of the first season of Happy Days.

The episode focuses on fears of an all-out nuclear war during the height of the 1950s Cold War, a time when many families were building bomb shelters to protect them. Here, the Cunninghams are faced with some dire choices, including whether to allow neighbors and friends to stay in the shelter in case of war ... and in the process, have to decide whether living in fear is worth the price of friendship.
