Guy Sebastian is an Australian singer/songwriter who won the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. Born to asian parents, his family moved to Adelaide, South Australia when Guy was a small child.

Upon release, his single, "Angels Brought Me Here" debuted at number 1 on the Australian ARIA charts, achieving similar status in a number of other countries, and soon became the fastest selling single in Australian history, as well as achieving 3x platinum status in the first week of sales.
