Plot Overview
The citizens of Hooterville have a chance to go to France to study their agriculture, and the price is only $300. They fail to realize, despite Oliver's best efforts, that it's $300 PER PERSON, and further misunderstand him, thinking they can fly for $78 per person. When the initial opportunity goes south, they find a rickety old World War II plane and expect Oliver to fly it! When the FAA grounds the plane, the French government raises a stink and accuses the State Department of sabotaging the whole trip.
