Good Eats on the Food Network is a cooking show like no other. Host Alton Brown mixes cooking, science, humor, and fun together to learn not just how to prepare food, but why we do the things we do in the kitchen. The pilot aired on WTTW-TV, the Chicago PBS affiliate, in July 1998 before being picked up by Food Network.
