God, the Devil and Bob (2000) is a short-lived animated comedy that aired on NBC.
For a brief period of time in the late 1990s, primetime animation had a resurgence through shows like Futurama and Family Guy. Other networks caught on and greenlit less successful shows like Clerks, Dilbert and God, the Devil and Bob, which was NBC's attempt to hop onto the bandwagon. The series was cancelled for a myriad of reasons, including pressure from conservative Christian groups and low ratings in comparison to the burgeoning reality show fad.
Although the series was cancelled after four episodes, the complete series found its way onto DVD, including the 9 unaired shows.
