Plot Overview

Gilligan is bitten on the neck by a Bat.He believes that he will turn into a Vampire.He is so fearful of this prospect that he leaves his fellow castaways also for fear that he will bite them,and they become Vampires too.He goes to the other side of the Island,and will barrage himself in a Cave.He has a dream that night in the Cave.He is a Vampire,Ginger is his Bride,Mary Ann is the Maid(made up to look like an old hag),The Howells are a visiting couple seeking lodging for the night,and The Professor(as Sherlocklike),and The Skipper(a Dr.Watsonlike assistant)are the characters in Gilligans dream.The latter two are bungling detctives that have been sent to invetigate strange goings on in the Castle belonging to Dracula/Gilligan.The Count tries to bite the visiting Howells,but is halted by the Detective pair.Gilligan then awakens from his dream.It was discovered that the Bat that the Crew,and Castaways believed had bitten Gilligan was a Vampire,was in fact a Fruit Bat which according to The Professor is completely harmless.Relief comes to all,and especially Gilligan.
