Plot Overview

The seven passengers of the SS Minnow are shipwrecked on a deserted island. They were on a three hour tour when a typhoon struck stranding them on an uncharted island. There is concern that they might end up on an island inhabited by cannibals. While sailing, Gilligan and the Skipper run into another typhoon. The typhoon pulls them off course where they land on an unfamiliar island. They build a fire to dry themselves and to keep warm. The smoke from their fire is discovered by others. The others are in fact the passengers of the wrecked Minnow. After some misunderstandings, the passengers and crew reunite, until Gilligan accidentally slips on a vine which was set up to trapped headhunters. It traps the castaways instead. They manage to dig their way out. So begins the adventures of our castaways on Gilligan's Island.
