Plot Overview

While making a friendly bet with Gilligan that he could'nt hit a Golf ball in a hole,Mr.Howell ends up owing Gilligan $3 Million Dollars.Gilligans newfound wealth makes his fellow Castaways friendlier towards him.The only person not happy with his wealth is Howell himself.Howell schemes to get back his Millions from Gilligan,and succeeds,by making an offer to Gilligan which suppose to make him wealthier.Gilligan ends up with an Oil Well which turns out worthless.Howell is feeling on cloud nine until a Radio Announcement says that the Oil Well that he aquired(the one he sold to Gilligan)is sprouting gushers of oil which is worth millions more than the millions he lost in his bet with Gilligan.Howell is feeling quite the fool now.Again he tries to swindle Gilligan only this time he does not succeed.Howell will try a new tactic not would regain the Oil Well.He succeeds.But on the following day,Howell,and the other Castaways learn that the Oil Well which was thought to be worth millions was in fact worthless.Howells reaction to this latest news so shocks him,he faints.

Notes

Howell shows his true colors when it comes to keeping money in this episode.First,he lost in his bet to Gilligan,then he swindles Gilligan out of the Millions,and when he learns that the Oil Well that he thought was worthless turns out be worth Millions,he schemes to get the Oil Well back,to which he succeeds,only to learn that it was indeed worthless from the beginning.Justice comes to Gilligan,and Skipper by the episodes end.
