Mr. and Mrs. ??? is the thirty-first episode of the second season of Gilligan's Island, and the sixty-seventh episode overall.

Plot Overview

As the Howells are relaxing in their Lounge Chairs,they listen to the News on the Radio.The Announcer says that a certain Preacher who had married the Howells was an imposter.Hearing this Mr.Howell nearly chokes while drinking.The Howells are both shocked,and devastated.The Howells having heard decides to get Married to a Certified Minister.That Minister being The Skipper since a Ships Captain can legally perform a Wedding(as long as it is at Sea)So,with a Large Plank in the middle of the Lagoon,Gilligan as Best Man,and Ginger as the Bridesmaid,the Ceremony commences.But before the Ceremony commences,there are problems,the lease being Gilligan gets stuck on a pole trying to push the plank out in the Lagoon.The Howells have disagreement on the Wedding Band,this resulting in the Wedding being called off.The Howell seperate.Mr.Howell moves in with the Skipper,and Gilligan.Mrs.Howell remains in their Hut.The other Castaways plan together to get the Couple back together.Their plan is to make one,or the other jealous.Mr.Howell will pretend to go on a date with Ginger,and Mrs.Howell pretends to be interested in the Professor.Each would say aloud how interesing they are,one upping the other with each complement.This plan does not go as planned.The Skipper decides on a new stratagy.The Skipper dressed as a Headhunter charges into the Compound making a strange sound.This pretends to frightens the other Castaways(all of whom knows that it is the Skipper). Mr.Howell who picks up a Coconut,and throws it at the Skipper believing him to be a Headhunter.Howell hits his mark.The Skipper staggers backwards,and into the Woods.Gilligan goes to check on the Skipper,as The Howells embrace each other.Each apologising for the way they behaved towards the other.Gilligan sees that The Skipper looks okay,but ask to be sure.The following day,The Howell await the weather report to make that the weather would be fine.As they listen,the News comes on with the announcement that the Preacher who was thought to be an impostor was in fact genuine.The announcer made a misread his name The Howells are so happy they go to their Hut to make happy talk.Soon however,they are fighting again,and Mr.Howell moves out again,and back to the Skipper,and Gilligans Hut,much to their chagrin.

Notes

This is one of the few episodes where the Howells have a fight,and seperate.
