Plot Overview

There is a Lion on the Island.This Lion had washed ashore from a Circus Boxcrate.He had broken out of the Boxcrate,and is on the loose.The crew can hear his roar from miles around.While the men are out searching,the women stay together in what they assume to be a safe area of the Island.While the women are talking Mrs.Howell sneezes.She has an allergic reaction to cats.Since being on the Island they have seen no cats.Mrs.Howell looks into her hand mirror,sees the Lion perched behind her on a rock.Remembering that a lion is a member of the Cat Family she motions to Ginger,and Mary Ann that it is the Lion behind them who is making her sneeze.Seeing the Lion,the women run.The lion follows but slowly.He follows Mrs.Howell into her Hut.Mrs.Howell manages to exit before the Lion can do anything.Joining Ginger,and Mary Ann,Lovey helps to barricade the entrance to her Her.They then proceed to tell the men of their bravery.Gilligan having been sent to check on the women,goes to The Howells Hut.He suddenly hears the Lions roar,and panics.He quickly removes the barricade furniture,and barricades himself inside the Hut with the Lion.Gilligan does not notice the Lion,at first.He is sitting on the bed right beside Gilligan.When Gilligan sees him,he gets up to run,but feeling he cannot outrun the Lion,Gilligan braces himself for the attack.However,the Lion does not move.In fact,he seems uninterested in moving.Gilligan curious,takes a cautious look,and finds out why the Lion lays motionless.The Lion has a splinter in one of its paws.Gilligan manages to pull it out.From that moment on,Gilligan,and the Lion are new friends.But the question is will the Lion become the other castaways friend?When Gilligan informs the others about the Lion being friendly,they all caution him.Gilligan refuses to listen,and will take himself,and his friend elsewhere.How long will this friendship between Man,and Beast last on this Island?
