Overview

Johnson's House

At the home of Linda Johnson, a woman who claims that she is a sensitive, she claims that she started getting activity in her home when her son went away to college. She sees shadows walking down the hallway and claims to be able to feel the spirits around her. In fact when they are all standing in the kitchen she says that they are being watched by spirits outside.

Brian and Steve are investigating a room when Linda walks in to invoke the spirits to come out. All of the sudden Brian sees a dramatic drop in temperature, down 22 degrees. Later the temperature gauge goes to 3 dashes, signaling electrical interference. Brian thinks that they interference is coming from something in her son’s room. Meanwhile Grant is sitting in the bedroom when he hears something that sounds like a gasp and investigates the source. It turns out that the owner’s cat was snoring.

Although Linda claims that the house “went dead” while the team is investigating, they still must conclude that no evidence exists for paranormal activity in that house. Jason thinks that there might be something happening in the house, but that Linda is exaggerating it because the stories of various people differ, although he never told her that he thinks this directly.

Zubrowski's House

Adam Zubrowski has been having trouble in his house with seeing and hearing things. Although Adam is a skeptic about paranormal claims, he also can’t explain what is going on. He claims that he has friends who have gotten eerie feelings in the bedroom where Adam’s great-grandfather died. Some have said that they do not want to spend the night in Adam’s house for fear. Also in Adam’s own room he has said that a box of glasses moved from his bookshelf to the bed unexplainably. The door to Adam’s basement locked by itself.

During the investigation Heather, a pagan, used dowsing rods to try and pick up entities, while Brian followed behind with an EMF reader. They both got some readings, but not consistently together. Grant thinks that the house could have some electrical problems, due to its age, which will result in people having feelings of being watched.

While reviewing evidence, Brian finds 2 segments of audio where you can hear a voice. The first is hard to make out, but it is clearly that of a man. The second is also of a man, but this time you can hear what sounds like the person saying the name “Adam.” Jason and Grant are both stunned by this, and tell Adam that it seems something is going on in the house.
