Season One of GRΣΣK premiered on July 9, 2007.

The season originally had an order for twenty episodes, with only eighteen of those episodes being completed before the 2007 WGA strike (eight were unaired). Once the strike was over, unlike most shows that received what was originally ordered or less, ABC Family actually ordered four more episodes, to bring the total to 22 episodes, two more than the original order.
