Overview
Because of Futurama's lopsided airing seasons, Fox Home Entertainment produced volume sets which instead follow production seasons. Because of this, Volume 1 collects most of Season 2 and the first three episodes of Season 3.

- The alien alphabet translator gives a direct translation for the first alien language.
- The still concept art gives an idea of how characters progressed over time. This gallery features early designs for Al Gore, the brain slugs, Clamps and other characters from episodes that appeared on the DVD. As a special bonus, this includes sketches of David X. Cohen and other producers as internet nerds.
- The international clips show a clip from I Second That Emotion dubbed into French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
