Plot Overview
Feeling that he has accomplished nothing throughout his lifetime,the Professor makes a decision to choose an heir to leave all of his possessions to.The Planet Express Crew each think that the Professor will name them as his Heir.The Professor has been working in his Laboratory for days.He leaves his Lab to announce his Heir.Fry in anticipation(since he is the only living Heir to Farnsworth)is really to accept being the Professors Heir.But,to his,and to the Crews surprise,The Professor introduces his Heir,a Clone that Farnsworth has created name Hubert.This Clone of the Professor though contains some of his intelligence,he lacks sensitivity,and is very arrogant.So,much so that Farnsworth makes the decision to die on a Planet where the elderly are taken to be put to death.The Crew learning about the Professors decision,race to stop him.They succeed,and in doing so,Hubert comes to admire The Professor,and has a change of heart.He wants to grow up to become just like Farnsworth.
