Follyfoot is a drama adventure that aired on ITV. It is the story of Follyfoot Farm, owned by the Colonel, it is a safe haven for horses who are too old or no longer wanted by their owners. When Dora is sent to live with the Colonel (her uncle), whilst her parents are overseas, she falls in love with the farm, and helps to run it, along with Steve, Slugger and Ron. Outside the farm, there is an old, nearly dead tree, which they christen The Lightning Tree, because it looks like forked lightning against the sky, this is also the subject and title of the well remembered theme, which was performed by The Settlers
