• Dazed and Confused: The sequence where Chris is hunted by seniors with paddles is directly taken from the 1993 movie Dazed and Confused, the movie that launched the careers of such actors as Ben Affleck and Joey Lauren Adams. The movie chronicles the last day of school for incoming high school freshman in 1976 where everyone gets stoned, drunk and beats up on the kids.
