420 is the twelfth episode of the seventh season of Family Guy, and the one hundred twenty-third episode overall.

The episode deals with Brian and Stewie working to legalize pot in Quahog, and the consequences that arise. Meanwhile, Quagmire begins worrying about his missing cat.

  • 420 — The slang term for cannabis culture serves as the title of the episode, with April 20 (the date that fell one day after the episode's original airdate (of April 19)) being the unofficial "holiday" celebrating the counterculture of marijuana consumption.
  • Chitty Chitty Bang Bang — Brian and Stewie — with other Quahog residents eventually joining in — perform a pro-marijuana song called "Bag o' Weed," sung to the tune of "Me Ol' Bamboo," a song from the 1968 movie starring Dick Van Dyke and Sally Ann Howes.
