Dragnet 1967 (as well as 1968, 1969 and 1970) is a crime drama that aired on NBC. It is a revival of the original 1951–59 version of the series.
Sgt. Joe Friday, along with new partner Officer Bill Gannon, investigate crimes for various divisions of the Los Angeles Police Department. As with the original series, each episode was based on actual LAPD case files, with Friday and Gannon pursuing leads in each case, interviewing witnesses and persons of interest and arresting suspects when they have enough evidence to make the busts, followed by the fates of the suspects in each profiled case being shown in the epilogue of each episode.
