Dr. Fad is a children's program starring Dr. Fad, the creator of the Wacky Wallwalker. The show talked about the process of inventing, showcased the history of various trends and fads, and spotlighted child inventors. The program was meant to encourage creativity in youngsters.

In a typical episode three child inventors would be brought on the show with their inventions, with the favorite to be decided by the audience.
