Echo is the unaired pilot for Dollhouse. It was originally intended to be the first episode of the series, despite multiple reshoots called for by series creator Joss Whedon. When Whedon decided to shoot a new first episode, he pushed "Echo" to air second. Eventually, it was pulled entirely despite being complete. The original pilot was included on the Dollhouse season one DVD.
