Dog the Bounty Hunter is a reality documentary that aired on A&E.
On November 2, 2007 A&E announced that they had suspended production of new episodes and removed all repeats of Dog the Bounty Hunter from their schedule. This was in response to a tape of Dog spouting racist remarks about his son's girlfriend being made public. The network said they would make a decision on the final fate of the series in several weeks once they had done more investigation into the incident and the emotions involved in the situation had had time to cool off. In May of 2008 A&E announced that they would begin airing repeats of Dog the Bounty Hunter again on June 25 and that a new season would premiere shortly after that.
