Recess is an animated comedy that aired on ABC for five seasons and UPN for one season.

Recess is a Disney show that revolves around the lives of TJ and his friends and their lives at school, particularly during the recess hours. Vince is the athlete, Spinelli is the tough girl, Gus is the new nerdy kid, Gretchen is the smart kid and Mikey is the friendly, spiritual one. Their lives are full of adventure and conflict and this is shown throughout each episode. Some rivals are Lawson and his gang, Ms. Finster and the Ashleys.
