Discovery Health was a US-based cable network, owned by Discovery Communications.
The channel ceased operation on December 31, 2010 and was replaced by OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network on January 1, 2011.
Discovery Networks announced eventually in January 2011, that defunct Discovery Health will merge with sister channel FitTV. The channel was relaunced on February 1, 2011 as Discovery Fit & Health.
