Trivia

The Show

Yet another tribute episode, this one focusing on famous TV spies, with guest stars Barbara Bain (Cinnamon Carter from Mission: Impossible, ), Robert Culp (Kelly Robinson from I Spy), Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo from The Man From UNCLE) and Patrick Macnee (John Steed from The Avengers), as well as Phil Morris (the son of Greg Morris who played Barney Collier on the original Mission: Impossible, as well as playing the son of his father's character on the new Mission: Impossible).

Barbara Bain is the only one of the actors in this episode to play the same character that they played on the original series. Due to the merger of Paramount (the producer of Mission: Impossible) and Viacom (the producer of Diagnosis Murder), the producers were allowed to use the name 'Cinnamon Carter' in this episode.
