Gameplay
- In his carryover game, Brett "Kurtzy" Kurtz found that case 12 held $5,000, upping his next offer to $52,000. The offer went up to $76,000 with four cases left, which he also rejected. Then his fortunes began to tumble upon eliminating the last big amount — $300,000 — on his very next pick. His next pick wiped out the highest remaining case: $200, leaving him with an $8 deal and case prizes of $5 and $10. He accepted the deal, and learned his case had $10.
- "Kurtzy" was widely criticized for his personality on Internet game show forums, and many people were happy to see him win a small amount.
- After a very strong first round where the biggest prize eliminated was $25,000, Lisa Fournier struggled the rest of the way. She wiped out five of the top seven amounts in the next two rounds before rebounding to top out with a $38,000 deal. Then she lost the $300,000 and $200,000 cases in successive picks, causing her game to crash. With five cases left and all of them holding $400 or less, she opened the biggest remaining amounts and saw her offers continue to dwindle. She eventually left the game with $50 in her pocket, which if there's any consolation, was a good deal; her case had $5. Fournier's game continued a streak of games where contestants won small amounts of cash.
