Seth Bullock submitted the first ever bill to protect Yellowstone National Park from Development when he served in the Montana Territory Legislature. It was passed in 1872 and Yellowstone Park was born.

After Janet Jackson revealed one breast during the Superbowl the language of Deadwood, and Al Swerengen in particular, was given as an example of the need to allow government censorship of cable television shows. Reportedly the word "cocksucker" was counted over fifty times in one show (roughly 50 minutes). HBO has since backed away from using that word on this series.
