A person suffering from the disease Tuberculosis, or TB. Coincidentally, in western lore legendary gunslinger Doc Holiday suffered from TB, and in Deadwood it seems to be Doc Cochran. The similarities are nominal, of course, as Doc Cochran is neither legendary nor a gunslinger.

Squarehead

A derogatory/slang term referring to Cornishmen.
