Plot Overview
A mysterious white sphere hurtling through space is on a collision course with the Earth. Aliens have cleared off an enormous section of London (save for the pillar box) and it's only after Penfold asks if the situation has DM snookered does it hit our hero: The Earth is next in line to be potted into the black hole Alpha Omega in an intergalactic snooker game, and 147 is the highest score possible in snooker.
