Plot Overview

Toward the end of the episode, James and Cally learn J.R. is an inmate at the sanitarium, leading James to concoct a very clever scheme to make sure J.R. stays at the sanitarium for the rest of his life.

That comes about when James and Cally trick an attorney J.R. had entrusted his release papers to to obtain the papers. James then has J.R. sign a series of papers, claiming they're only for a property settlement agreement with Cally ... just before he reveals to J.R. that he has no intention of having him released and tears up the release papers. J.R. begins to grow furious, then panics as the orderlies take him away ... perhaps forever. James smiles evilly as J.R. is now facing a lifetime – or at least a summer – of being abused in scientific experiments, electric shock therapy and much more for all the crime and things he did over the years.
