Plot Overview
As Dominic makes final preparations for his interview with the police board, Leo is tagged with a temporary partner to investigate the death of an American journalist.

Happenings
- Brian rents a garage where he retrieve the linoleum knife used on Rick. A constable catches him coming out, claiming he was seeing his mother. Suki hears about and since his mother's dead, she tells Mick and Kosmo about and takes them to it. They quietly go get a warrant.
- Brian picks up Sue to put the knife in Pierce's car. He tells her to go into his unlocked car, pop the trunk, and put it in. She pockets it instead.
- Dominic has his interview with the police board.
Characters
- Suki has been in an off-and-on relationship with a constable.
- Mick and Kosmo enjoy their relationship. Mick admits this is why he's passed on her offer to sleep on her couch, for fear of it leading something to spoil it.
- Pierce admits his recent trouble had him considering suicide via sleeping pills, but it was Dominic saying he'd meet him later that stopped him.
