Happenings
- Rose learns the actual names of the two suspects are Rob and Kerry Walker. She finds the brother of one of them, Vern and learns the two are father and son. Mick and Leo rattle Vern about the robberies. They then trail him as he gets on a boat and sent off to an island where he's set up camp.
- Dominic runs into a shoeshiner who asks him about a friend of his, Lamont, who O.D.ed and what's going to happen to his body. Dominic agrees to check into it for him.
- One of the co-mingled remains has been identified as Josh Reardon. Kelly is hesitant to kick it to Homicide due to their budget and resources going into the pig farm and instead prepares to open a coroner's inquiry. It's also found Reardon was sodomised and was listed as a "walkaway" in 1977, the same year, month, and week as the body he was placed with was buried. Dominic gets in contact with the head groundskeeper. He tells him about rumours of staff bringing patients into the greenhouse to have sex.
- The ballistics on the bullets recovered from Zinn match those of the murder an East Indian heroin dealer. Asking for her notes, Suki comes back and tells her Brian was off sick at the time.
- Dominic approaches Brenda again and is upfront now about Jack's role in helping the red light initiative and encourages her to leave for a month. She agrees to think about it. Jack later approaches him and shows him that her ex found her packing and gave her a black eye. He later finds that Brenda has moved in with Jack.
- Suki's informant is found dead of a single shot to the head, behind the ear.
Characters
- Mick gets tired of hearing Leo gripe about Rose. He suggest it might because he fears he's going to be replaced and that he should think about retirement. When he points out Rose came with the names of their suspects, he eases up, admitting he's been rough on her. Leo admits he still can't find a place to put his wife and he might have to dig into his pension.
- Leo asks Mick about his recent behaviour and he admits he's still dealing with Josie's shooting and was shaken after running into her sister.
- When Kosmo asks to see her notes, Suki is obviously shaken, leaving before her order arrives. She later takes the murder of her informant quite personal, feeling should could have done more to help her.
Referbacks
- Dominic finds the meter maid who he confronted in "Pretend You Didn't See Me" again giving him a ticket.
