Notes

Arc Advancement

Happenings

  • The father Walker, Rob, survives the crash, but his son doesn't. After looking through the recovered truck, a gun is found that doesn't match the one used in the robbery. Dominic investigates to see if Rob knew he was being trailed and that's what led to the accident, but Zack dismisses it and will write a report that it was an accident.
  • Curtis picks up Brenda's ex, Rick Prentice and to keep from being charged with coke possession, he asks he keeps tabs on Brenda and Pierce.
  • Kosmo apprises Kurtz about looking at Curtis, but wants to wait going to Internal.
  • Gina finds Mark, the missing runaway from Ravenhood. He reveals to Dominic that Kent sexual abused the rest of the crew and manipulated them into killing themselves. He escaped to tell someone, but didn't because he began sexually abusing boys himself. Dominic confronts Kent and tells him he's kicking the case to Homicide. It will be difficult to sell to the Crown, but Kelly can probably call in some favours.
  • Helen finds out shoeshine's friend, Lamont died of an electric shock, not an O.D.
  • Kosmo is called to the scene of a drive-by involving the East Indians. A gun is found dumped nearby.
  • Rose is called into a break-in at Maitland's.

Characters

  • Zack confronts Dominic about hearing he hit on his daughter and lashes out at him.
  • After trying to track down various leads and fearful he'll have to tell Kurtz he lost his gun, the bartender gives it back, presumably from the man with the dog.

Goofs

  • When Rose goes to help Chick, the camera pans around the truck. In one of it's windows, you can see the reflection of a crew member holding something up.

Quotes

  • Kelly: Unearthing those graves at the old mental institution turned out to be rather a good thing after all, didn't it?
Dominic: Yeah. I guess it did.
Kelly: (chuckles) I just wanted to hear you say it.
