DC Universe was a direct-to-consumer video on demand digital platform jointly owned by DC Entertainment and its parent company Warner Bros. Entertainment.
According to the website, it is described as "a first-of-its kind, immersive digital experience designed just for DC fans" which includes unlimited access to its original series.
On September 18, 2020, WarnerMedia announced that DC Universe would shift away from scripted series in favor of a rebrand as a comic book subscription service. It rebranded as DC Universe Infinite on January 21, 2021, with all its scripted project shifting over to HBO Max.
