Plot Overview

This episode recaps the Torello-Luca saga up to the previous episode. It features such moments as young buck Johnny O'Donnell (a friend of Torello's), who falls in with Luca and Bartoli and winds up getting killed after attempting to rob a jewelry store owned by Bartoli. We then see Luca's rise up the ladder through various robberies and other acts of violence. Also, we see a recap of Torello's friend, Ted Kehoe, joining Luca and Weisbord as the head of a pension fund they have taken over. Both Ted and his fiancee Marilyn wind up dead. Before she died, Marilyn paid a visit to U.S. Attorney Breitel, who visited Torello and demanded everything on Luca and Bartoli, only to be told he has no jurisdiction in Chicago and to get out, before Torello loses his temper. The episode ends with Luca and Bartoli before the Grand Jury...after their appearance, they meet up with Weisbord and a number of other Syndicate higher-ups, who introduce him to the new head of the pension fund.
