Plot Overview
After crashing her car, a woman on the run from the police happens upon a funeral parlor. She is saved by the widowed owner of the parlor, and ultimately learns that she is the fulfilment of a wish the owner made on a monkey's paw.

Allusions and References
- The first two names in the parlor's guest book are Herbert West and Francesco Dellamorte. Not only are these names from H.P. Lovecraft's novel-turned-film Re-Animator and the the film Cemetery Man, respectively, but both works deal with resurrection of the dead.
- Marjorie's animated severed hands harass Avery when he looks for the paw, very much reminiscent of Ash's animated severed hand from Evil Dead 2.
