Plot Overview
The date is September 22, 1989. Fourteen years later, Lilly receives a call from a man who claims to have killed his grandmother. There is no cold case box on the victim, who was thought to be a missing person at the time, but when they visit the house where the man and his grandmother lived, they find the remains of the grandmother in the basement, inside a bricked-up coal chute. Lilly starts to wonder about the man's obsession with his former girlfriend, who's now married to a prominent OB-GYN, and discovers that the girl was promiscuous and materialistic back then, and may still be obsessed with money in the present day.
