Plot Overview

August 21. 1998: A serial rapist is on the loose, sending taunting letters to the police, and eventually his crimes escalate to murder. After a five-year absence, the letters start arriving again, prompting a reopening of the case. Lilly is assigned the lead detective role on the case, and she worries about Vera, who leaned on the dead woman's boyfriend so hard that the man filed a restraining order against him, and he just might do something that crosses the line to nail him as the killer.
