Overview
Comedy Central released the complete first season of Chappelle's Show on a barebones box set which featured very few special features and lacked most of the musical performances from the series. Despite the poor selection of features, the DVD sold extremely well and eventually surpassed Family Guy as the highest selling television series DVD of all time.

- All of the separate Paul Mooney "Ask a Black Dude" questions are previously unaired and is one completely uncut stream of Paul answering questions and hassling the crew. The footage goes on for approximately 13 minutes.
Easter Eggs
None.
Alterations
- The DVD is truly "uncensored." All of the swearing is unbleeped, and the exposed breast in Ep. 101 is unblurred.
- Many of the musical performances have been cut from the DVD because of reason of securing rights and in order to cheaply produce the DVDs, as Comedy Central was unsure about taking a risk on the DVD. Musical performances cut from the DVDs include: Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Killer Mike, Slum Village, The Roots and GZA.
