Catch-21 is a blackjack-based game show that aired on GSN. It is an updated version of the CBS game show Gambit, which creator Merrill Heatter co-produced.

Three contestants, each spotted an up card, answer questions and upon being correct, accepts playing cards in an attempt to build the best hand or gives them away in an attempt to bust the opponents. Players can freeze at any time. If two players freeze, the remaining player need only accept ensuing playing cards to beat the two frozen hands. Players cannot freeze on another player's already frozen score.

The winner of the first two rounds wins $500 and a power chip (towards the end game) and the low scoring player is eliminated. The two remaining players continue into round three.

The winner of round three goes onto the bonus round and receives an extra power chip. In the bonus round, there are three racks, each spotting an up card. The dealer deals out cards and the contestant places them as they are drawn in any rack in an attempt to build a 21 in each. He/she uses the power chips if his/her drawn card will put him/her over. A 21 in one rack wins $1000, two racks make it $5000, and all three pays off $25,000. he/she may stop after any successful 21 rack and keep the money won but loses it if he/she busts in the other two racks.
