Captain N: The Game Master is a children's animated fantasy action comedy. It originally aired on NBC. It featured Kevin Keene, a normal teenager who likes to play video games, transported into 'Videoland', a land made up of characters and worlds from Nintendo video games. Here, he becomes 'The Game Master' and helps Princess Lana keep control of Videoland from Mother Brain.
For the show's second season, it aired in a programming block with The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 as Captain N and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. Following this series, new 15-minute Captain N segments were featured on Captain N and the New Super Mario World, which is generally considered to be the 'third season' of Captain N episodes.
