Plot Overview
A wino who is well-known to everyone in Madrid insists that he and his friend, a fellow drunk, saw a man in a wheelchair being unloaded from an ambulance into a hotel by two mysterious men. When the wino's friend is found dead under mysterious circumstances, and the wino insists that the man in the wheelchair is a prominent industrialist from California, Cade investigates, suspecting a conspiracy of some sort. Meanwhile, the two mystery men, the industrialist's lawyer and head of security, are plotting to do away with the other wino.
