Plot Overview
Small-town law enforcement and big-city police methods form an uneasy alliance when Cade travels to Los Angeles to find a missing J.J., who disappeared while attending a convention of deputies. He's been taken hostage by a fugitive he spotted, a man wanted, along with his brother, for armed robbery and murder. The brothers hold him hostage while they make plans for a major heist. Cade, meanwhile, clashes with the LAPD Lieutenant in charge of the case, over the best method of rescuing the kidnapped deputy.
