- When Natalia's ex-husband is murdered, evidence suggests that she killed him.
- Maxine Valera tries to defend Natalie when she confessed that she killed Nick. But Det. Berkeley doesn't buy it.
- Suddenly, the CSIs found the earrings in Nick's home that belonged to Lauren Sloan who was the prime suspect of murduring Benjamin Rhodes. Jeff Murdock was her husband. The two cases are related.
- Horatio boots Det. Berkeley out of the Nick Townsend case for his mistake of arresting Natalia.
- Jeff Murdock is the true culprit of killing Nick Townsend when he asked Nick to return his wife's earrings. When Nick refused, Jeff killed him with one of his tools.
- Natalia and Maxine were released.
