[edit] Plot Overview
- A family is on a burning yacht, college-aged daughter jumps into shark infested water to flee the fire, college-aged brother dives in after her. Both are missing and presumed dead.
- Ship is a sinking crime scene, but they find evidence of the fire being started in the galley by what looks like a moltov cocktail.
- The current is searched and the body of a boy is found—it is the body of a foreign exchange student staying with another family at the yacht club.
- Exchange student, Damon, was shot in his guest family's home. The guest family was on their yacht all weekend and came home to find the blood stain and a lot of money in gold bars missing.
- A team of salvagers have the gold—they retrieved it from the burned yacht when they rescued Luke, the "dead" brother.
- The daughter of the "guest" family dated Luke—and found him in bed with his sister. She then filled his bong with cooking oil. When Luke lit his bong, he caught the boat on fire.
- It turns out that the father, the now dead daughter, and the son are not related at all - and they're all criminals. The wife has no idea.
- The "father," "brother," and "sister" planned the death of the wife's late husband so they could work their way into the yacht club.
- Late husband was killed by an electronic device attached to his car that caused the cruise control to increase and the breaks to lock.
[edit] Notes
- I'd like to point out that this episode had fire, sharks, incest (somewhat), pirates and for some reason it seemed plausible.
[edit] Arc Advancement
[edit] Happenings
- Touching moment at the end where Horatio admits that all anyone wants is a family

- Calleigh does not like going into fire-arms because of a death that occurred there.
